Frequently Asked Questions

"Can you take photos outdoors or at another location?" Yes. We can create images indoors or outdoors at our fully equipped studio or beautiful outdoor facilities.

We are experienced and well equipped to accept assignments at almost any location, whether indoors or out.

"What should I wear?" We hear this question more than any other. Wear whatever makes you happy! You know what style best suits you and your happiness will be reflected in your expressions captured in the images.

Here are a few general suggestions that hold true for any shoot.

For group portraits we suggest coordinating solid colors. Choose one or two colors and ask the participants to dress in simple garments around those colors. Long sleeves are flattering for most adults. Patterns and prints can take the focus away from you so we recommend keeping the choices simple. Shoes are optional.

Let your children express themselves with their favorite toy, sports equipment or uniform.

Since every portrait session is unique, we recommend a wardrobe consultation to help style your shoot.
For families and children this usually takes a few minutes on the phone. For professionals, executives and models with complex needs, we can recommend a stylist to ensure you get the right look for your images.

"When will my proofs be ready?" The short answer is that your proofs can be ready minutes after your session. You can view them on our large studio monitors or you can view them in the comfort of your home using our on-line proof gallery. For executive headshots, same day service is available.

"When will my prints be ready?" Again, the short answer is minutes after your shoot. We print most of your images right in our studio. Typically, it takes approximately one week from the time you submit your order. We offer expedited printing service for clients who desire same day service.
